SOFTWARE DEFINED RADIO DEVELOPMENT TOOLKIT
Are you interested in processing the wideband zero-IF data stream offered by the Perseus receiver and control the receiver with your own application software?
has developed a simple yet powerful SDR Development Toolkit (SDRDK
) which allows you to interface your software to the Perseus receiver hardware directly.
The Microtelecom SDRDK includes C language APIs, control DLLs for Windows, FPGA configuration files images and a tutorial console application which explains step by step how to interface to the Perseus receiver and get out of it the data you're interested in.The SDRDK compiles with Microsoft Visual Studio C++ 5.0 or higher on Microsoft Windows XP and Windows Vista.
Please note that the SDRDK does not contain any digital signal processing code, either in source form or executable. The SDRDK is not meant for filtering, demodulating or any other signal processing task. It simply provides you the means to control the Perseus receiver and get the wideband zero-IF data stream as it comes out of the receiver digital down converter (24 bit IQ samples, from 125 kS/s to 2 MS/s).
The development toolkit is offered for free to those who request it under the terms of the Microtelecom SDRDK Licensing Agreement
Download the Perseus SDRDK
Once the Microtelecom SDRDK Licensing agreement conditions are accepted you will receive a personal notification e-mail with a link to the SDRDK download page).
Please note that this version of the SDK is not yet compliant with new USB3.0/USB2.0 ports and can be used only on systems equipped with true USB2.0 ports.
An updated version of the SDK will be available after the publication ot the Perseus V5 software.
